"Violets On Stage"
Our annual show and sale, "Violets On Stage" was held at Beaver Lake Nature Center, East Mud Lake Road, Baldwinsville, NY, May 3 & 4, 2008. Each entry in the show is judged by one or more panels of 3 African Violet Society of America certified judges. Each entry is judged on it's own merit and typically will receive a blue, red, or white ribbon. A blue ribbon is a score of 90-100; red ribbon is a score of 80-89 and a white ribbon is a score of 70-79. The Judges will also pick a "Best In Class" from each class in the show. After judging is finished, then
the judges go back through the show and pick the "Best In Shows" and "Special Awards". Some of these will be placed on the Court of Honors as seen below in the photo.
